The working group of people with memory diseases and caregivers

The national working group of people with dementia and their caregivers brings forward the expertise gained from first hand experience with dementia. It supports the work of the Alzheimer Society of Finland and ensures that the views of people living with dementia are reflected in the work of the Society.

The working group is run by people with dementia and their caregivers, and supported by the Alzheimer Society of Finland. The members are nominated by member organisations. The working group consists of approximately ten members and meets a couple of times a year.

The first working group was established in 2013.
